Lonestar is one of those groups that many associate with country music. With numerous hits, and a unique country sound that gave them the oppurtunity to produce 10 no. 1 hits on the country music charts. One hit topping the Billboard Hot 100. Doing something that very few country music groups have ever done.

You might remember Lauren Mascitti from this past season of ABC’s “American Idol.” Mostly known for her solo round performance during Hollywood Week of a song she penned herself and dedicated to her nana titled “God Made A Woman,” she quickly became a fan favorite. During the Top 40 showcase in Hawaii, however, she became part of a history-making and controversial vote for the last spot in AI’s Top 20. Although she didn’t win the vote, putting her in 21st place, outraged Idol fans catapulted Lauren’s newest independent album release “God Made a Woman” to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart.

Joining Lonestar will be one of our favorites Brooke McBride, the hard working country musician with wonderfully written country music. Not only is she a great vocalist, but her stories have the audience on the edge of their seats everytime. The North Carolina native is defined by her raw, sultry and smoky vocals as her signature; her rockin’ live performance is “country music at its best with a razor edge.”

Joining Sawyer Brown will be Dirty Grass Soul, Proudly hailing from the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County (Shelby, NC), Dirty Grass Soul has been entertaining audiences across the Carolinas and beyond since their formation in 2011. With a sound that draws much influence from traditional music of the North Carolina foothills, Dirty Grass Soul manages to bring a new, refreshed, and re-energized sound to their music that falls somewhere between country, bluegrass, and southern rock & roll reminiscent of acts like The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band. Rather than simply relying on heavy guitar leads, Dirty Grass Soul offers instrumentation that mixes in a heavy dose of fiddle, pedal steel guitar, and banjo in addition to the guitar.
